There are quite a few letters going out in the next few weeks about events that are happening in and around school. If you think you have missed anything please ask your child’s class teacher who will let you know what is happening. Tomorrow we will be sending home a letter with information about class arrangements for September. We will also use the Green ‘Un to keep you up to date.
Y6 SATS Week
Next week is a very important week for our Y6 children. They have their compulsory SATs tests, which they have been working towards all year. We wish our children lots of luck and know that they will do their very best to show themselves, us and their families what they are capable of. If your child is in Y6 please help them to feel as ready as possible by having plenty of rest and a nice relaxing weekend.
Thank you for your continued support with your children and their learning. They have done fantastically well this year and we really want them to enjoy showing what they can do!
As Kerry Wiggington and Damien D’Arcy have been the only parents to express their interest in the 2 positions of Parent Governor they will undertake a second term in the role without any need for a governor election. If you have any issues you would like to discuss with them please either see them in the school yard or call into the office to arrange a meeting. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kerry and Damien for their continued support and for all the time they dedicate to the role. They have been excellent parent advocates on the governing body and are keen to continue making WCM a better place for our children.
